ANNUAL LEAGUE AWARDS

The AT&T MHSHL has an exciting announcement. We will present our league awards at the Dallas Stars v. Vancouver Canucks game on April 8th. The winners of the best player awards from each Varsity Division and the top 10 All Academic Award winners will each receive 2 tickets to the game and dinner for 2 in the Lexus Club prior to the game. The awards will be presented during a break in the game on the Ice Girls platform. Additional tickets and dinners may be purchased. Details on how to claim tickets and dinners, as well as how to purchase additional tickets and dinners will be shared with the winners.

On the attached forms, coaches vote on the Player of the Year Awards and clubs nominate the All-Academic players. ALL VOTES AND NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY MARCH 7TH AT 5 PM. 

VARSITY AWARDS-TO BE VOTED ON BY COACHES. HEAD AND ASSISTANT COACHES MAY BOTH SUBMIT VOTES.

Awards for Varsity GOLD, SILVER-GREEN , SILVER-WHITE & BRONZE will be presented in the categories listed below. You may vote for player(s) from any varsity team in the division your team plays in based on the criteria below. Please choose the best of the best. There will be winners in each of the FOUR Varsity Divisions. Choose the top player in each category. YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO VOTE FOR PLAYERS FROM YOUR CLUB FOR THESE AWARDS.

  • Offensive Player of the Year - The most skilled forward who also provided positive leadership on and off the ice.
  • Defensive Player of the Year - The most skilled defenseman who also provided positive leadership on and off the ice.
  • Goaltender of the Year- The most skilled goaltender who also provided positive leadership on and off the ice.

VARSITY ALL-ACADEMIC AWARDS-TO BE NOMINTATED BY CLUBS

The league will present awards to the top Juniors and Seniors, (11th & 12th grade), players in the league. When nominating players for this award please include the players GPA, any AP classes taken and any other pertinent information such as other extracurricular activities and/or community involvement. Please use a 4-point grading scale if possible. If the players school uses a 5-point scale or a % that is OK. Please indicate which you are using if it’s not a 4-point.  NOMINATE PLAYERS FROM YOUR CLUB FOR THE ALL-ACADEMIC AWARDS.
